Name: Ira A. Schultz Date: November 10th, 1927 - July 15th, 2010 Obituary: Adrian – Ira A. Schultz, 82, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Bixby Medical Center. Ira was born November 10, 1927 to Ira A. and Huldah Schultz, Sr. On November 12, 1949 he married Rebecca J. Bunn. Ira worked at Fisher Body for 13 years. He loved to read and had an extensive library. In addition to his wife, Rebecca, of over 60 years, Ira is survived by his children, David A. Schultz of Okemos, Sherry A. Schultz of Adrian, Bruce A. (Jackie) Schultz of Tecumseh, and Lee Eric (Sabrina) Schultz of Tecumseh, and his five grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Brandon, Dean and Krysten. He is also survived by his sisters, Rosetta Maddick of Canton, and Annabelle Hara of St. Petersburg, Florida He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Noreen Ried. Funeral services for Ira will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian. Rev. Geoffrey Koglin will be officiating. Burial will take place, Monday, July 19th at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh at 2:00 p.m. with military honors conducted by the VFW Annis Fint Post #1584. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 17th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in Ira’s memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Lenawee.
