King James was born February 24, 2010, in Birmingham. In addition to his parents, King James is survived by a brother, Trizian Smith, sister, Ta’Keisha Smith, both of Alabama; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Hardnett of Adrian; maternal grandfather, Tony Wilson of Detroit, and many wonderful extended family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Brenda Faye Edwards. The funeral service for King James will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Wagley Funeral Home with Bishop Robert Bernard officiating.
