Val was born January 11, 1928, in Mexico, the son of Pedro and Guadalupe (Herrevia) Villarreal. He was married to Nieves Banda who preceded him in death. Val raised his family in the Adrian area. He will be sadly missed by his children: Cruz, Valentin Jr., David, Edna, Deborah, Roverta, Michael, Dora, Tim, and Anna; 31 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Juan. A memorial service for Val will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Wagley Funeral Home.
