Name: Sevilla Miller Date: March 29th, 1918 - July 27th, 2009 Obituary: ADRIAN – Sevilla M. Miller, age 91, of Adrian, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009, at Tendercare of Adrian. Sevilla was born March 29, 1918 in Greenville, Illinois, the daughter of Irwin and Theresa (Gobel) Haddix. On July 24, 1937, Sevilla married Clarence Miller in Bryan, Ohio. They celebrated 45 years of marriage prior to his death in 1982. Sevilla worked at the Point Grocery and also at Muir’s Drug Store. She enjoyed traveling to Florida and gardening. Sevilla loved animals. She was a former member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Sevilla is survived by her granddaughter, Susan Kope of Adrian; two sisters, Corda Curtis of Angola, IN and Grace Redmond of Pace, FL; many nieces, nephews and very special friends. She will also be missed by her beloved cats, and her dog, Ginger. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Kope; brothers, Stephen, Ivan and Alan; sisters, Viola Keller and Elsie Stanbough; a step sister, Shirley and a step brother, Owen. The funeral service for Sevilla will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Wagley Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Proctor officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian. Friends may visit Sevilla’s family at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be sent to her family at www.wagleyfuneralhome.com.
